Abedua is not licensed, and this is not an offer

Abedua is not licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ghana, is not a dealing member of the Ghana Stock Exchange, and is not authorised to carry on any regulated securities activity. It cannot hold your money, hold securities for you, or place an order.

Everything this site describes — accounts, custody, funding by Mobile Money, fees, the asset classes we intend to offer — is planned rather than operating. Each depends on approvals we do not yet hold and on partners not yet appointed, and any of it may change or not happen at all.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, an invitation to invest, or a promise that any service will be available to you.

Nothing here is advice

This site is general information about a product being built. It does not take account of your circumstances, your finances or your goals, and it is not investment, tax or legal advice. If you need advice about your money, speak to someone licensed to give it.

Investing carries risk, including losing the money you put in. Share prices fall as well as rise, and how a company performed in the past tells you nothing reliable about how it will perform next.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we will email you about the launch. It does not open an account, reserve one, create any obligation on us to provide you with a service, or give you priority over anyone else beyond our own good intentions.

Give us an address you actually control, and do not sign up on someone else's behalf without their say-so. You can leave the list at any time.

The numbers on this page

• Share prices come from a third-party Ghana Stock Exchange feed. They may be delayed, interrupted or wrong, and they are for information only — never rely on them to make a decision.
• Portfolio values, holdings, returns and dividends shown in app previews are illustrative. They are not anyone's real account.
• People shown in photography on this site are not Abedua members.
• Historical return figures describe what the market did, not what you would have earned. They ignore fees, taxes and the timing of your own buying and selling.
• The pricing we describe is what we intend to open with. It is indicative, not a published fee schedule, and it may change before launch. Statutory levies are set by the GSE, SEC and CSD and are outside our control.

Using the site properly

Please do not:

• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or anything behind it.
• Scrape it automatically at a rate that degrades it for other people.
• Submit false information through the waitlist form, or automate submissions to it.
• Copy our text, design or photographs and pass them off as your own, or use them to impersonate Abedua.

What belongs to whom

The design, text, code and the Abedua name and palm mark are ours. You may read, quote and link to this site normally; you may not republish it wholesale or use our branding to suggest we endorse you.

Company logos shown on this site belong to those companies. They appear to identify securities listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. Their presence does not mean those companies are connected with Abedua or endorse it. Photographs are licensed stock images and remain the property of their photographers.

Links to other sites

We link to regulators, the Exchange and other outside sources so you can check what we say for yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

Availability and liability

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss you suffer from relying on information on this site, from it being unavailable, or from prices being delayed or inaccurate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes and as our regulatory position changes. The date at the top of the page tells you when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site.
